General Summary:

The Service & Solution Specialists responsibilities will includ the ability to manage maintenance renewals for Cisco, Citrix, Symantec, Dell, HP, VMware, Juniper, SonicWALL, etc. for a broad range of customers.  Maintain product database and setting up all new products within product database.  The successful candidae will work closely with the Pre-Sales team assisting the sales department and other engineers with the development of proposals and quotations.  The successful candidate will manage the transactional sales of computer hardware and peripherals of the existing customer base.  The successful candidate must have excellent communcation skills, work in a team and be a self-directed problem solver, extremely detailed and quality focused.

1: Manage maintenance renewals
2: Maintain product database, creating parts and pricing of all new inventory, as well as updating existing inventory on an ongoing basis as products are introduced or upgraded
3: Manage the transactional sales of computer hardware, peripherals, and software for existing customer base
4: Assist the sales, pre-sales and client care departments with the creation of quotes for new and existing customers
5: Provide product knowledge to all teams
6: Work with product vendors throughout the quoting and order process
7: Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience:

1: Knowledge of software and hardware ordering process
2: Strong desire to over-achieve
3: Must be a self-starter
4: Able to ascertain critical client business issues and match needs with available solutions
5: Must be organized and be able to multi-task
6: Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels of an organization
7: Ability to work closely with other field sales resources ato ensure total account opportuinty is capitalized on
8: Ability to thrive in a high-pressure sales environment
9: Strong computer skills and the ability to maanage high levels of internal/external, in/out bound e-mail correspondence
10: Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and effectively use time and resources
11: Experience in Excel, Word and CRM systems
