Email is where 91% of hacking starts. Filtering spam and malicious emails should be a key layer of your security strategy.
The emails look enticing - you’re bank account needs a password reset, your package delivery needs approval, your PO# is attached... and so on.
Productivity is lost when you and your employees have to filter through spam manually.
Even just a minute determining if a mail is spam or good, all those minutes add up, across the whole day, and then across all employees.
That is costing your business productive time and money.
In a worst case if you or your employees mistakenly click, and give away their credentials, your company data is then at risk, or a virus, malware is now installed on a corporate asset.
Spam also is likely to start propagating out from you or your employees email address to everyone in your company your clients, your suppliers etc. Let’s just say that’s not good marketing.
If you don’t have spam filtering in place for your company email talk with your IT department and see what options are available to you.
