As we continue to grow our company, deliver these services in areas surrounding New Jersey, we are searching for a sales team member that is creative, passionate, committed to making a difference in the business we serve, and flourishes within our company.

The sales team member is a big part of setting the tone in the company. As sales go, so does the motivation of the company. This person is the backbone of our success and will get support from the management team, but also be given the flexibility to own the Business Development Strategy for the company. This will require a dynamic, driven and dedicated sales professional that has the internal drive to create opportunities and close business.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Focus on performing consistent sales actions in order to add new recurring NorthStar Technology Services Managed Services clients and revenue on a consistent basis.
  • Prospect, qualify and close complex, technical & managed services sales.
  • Develop clear, specific, action-oriented account plans to develop large accounts.
  • Manage the life cycle of a sale from lead generation to new closed-won revenue.
  • Perform lead generation activities in order to generate the opportunities required to achieve revenue goals within the New Jersey, Philadelphia, Delaware and New York markets.
  • Conduct high impact prospect meetings to identify underlying causes of customer’s business problems in order to align NorthStar Technology Services' Managed Services solution to the customer’s vision, business needs, challenges, and technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge for our products and services
  • Utilize CRM, social platforms, and marketing software toolsets to facilitate sales engagement activities.
  • Maintain our high level of customer service before and after the sale
  • Be a person of good character.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven successful Outside Sales and Business Development sales experience
  • Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and performance-driven
  • Must be able to effectively use sales automation tools and CRM to manage the sales engagement process
  • Must be willing to learn and adapt as new products are developed
  • Strong value-added solution selling skillset that is comfortable having strategic conversations with senior executives
